November Full Moon

Relax on a chilly November evening when the full moon is rising. Cradled by the glow of Autumn leaves and a softly clouded sky, the moonlight radiates towards you with its healing and comforting peace.

THE BEAVER (or HUNTER or SNOW) MOON OF NOVEMBER

While it may be Autumn, Winter’s chill can be felt growing stronger every day as the sun barely reaches past the tree tops. In the early morning light dew becomes a frosty and ephemeral hint signaling that the first snows will soon arrive to coat the Earth in a protective blanket of glistening white crystals. While the Earth may appear to slumber the Winter away on the visible plain, deep within and beneath the surface root growth continues and energy is channeled for the springtime that lies ahead.

Just as the land appears motionless and still to the eye, so too do our bodies still, allowing the spirit to wander and grow from within. During this down time when the focus is inward, it is a perfect time to strengthen your connection to spirit and the divine through meditation and by reading and learning about different deities and spiritual traditions. Work with the kinesthetic or ethereal body on the astral plain is also appropriate.

We all have within ourselves an image in our mind’s eye of our physical bodies. This kinesthetic, or inner body that exists purely on an energetic level, can be used to improve and change life on the physical level. What the inner body can do is limited only by your imagination. By working with your inner body image through mediation and visualization, you can master tasks and overcome things that may be keeping you from achieving your goals. By introducing positive change to the inner body on the spiritual level, you are creating subtle, yet strong, energetic vibrations that will be reciprocated on the physical level as the outer body uses the inner body as a guide, or users’ manual so-to-speak.
