Rose of Sharon

Some people dislike Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) and I can’t understand why. Maybe it’s the variety? Or maybe they don’t prune it? But when I look at this one growing in the front garden, I’m mystified. This is ‘White Chiffon’ and is stunning and never disappoints with large, impressive white blooms. It does get a good spring pruning for size and shape. Can you imagine what a hedgerow of this stunner would look like?
